Spray your V grille black and maybe the badge on the boot to start with

i used a credit card to leaver it off then used superglue to stick it back

yeah credit cards are really good as they dont damace the car or badge

Looks like credit cards are the tip of the day.
Word of warning, don't use a current card that you might want to use. I broke mine once clearing ice from my windscreen.
Now when a card expires I scrape off the magnetic strip so the card cannot be read, deface the numbers and keep it in my ash tray.

De-icer and a proper scraper is the best way, but in an emergency a credit card will do.
