as for bein shown up.. i still feel like that when i go to meets, theres so many nice astras out there, its just a matter of makin urs ur own with little touches and urs is comin along nicely....

i do have plans for the estate... like getting the XP kit painted & fitted, 18" BK999's, fancy exhaust, smd conv etc etc. Given the state of my piggybank at the mo though those plans are gonna take a while to see the light of day.

all in good time my dear either that or just ask Santa (thats what i plan on doing)

well thought i'd put few pics up of what ive added over the past month or two...

always wondered if i could get rings for these vents...and i finally got some..



managed to give car quick clean before i put these on last month..burg mirror covers:P






Then i put these blue anti-theft caps on, as one had gone missing..



Then it was time for sum bulb upgrades

started with the reg platewith these led's...



i didnt think they were bright enuff as once theyre in they shine sideways..



so i took them out and put them sumwhere else..you will see later..
so got the same type but these shine downwards and has 2 led's instead of 1

Onto the interior lighting.

started off with a blue led festoon and blue map readers....





thought that was too blue tbh, so i changed the map readers to the white leds i had in the reg, they were perfect aas they point down with the led on the end, plus can see better need be, even tho the blue gives off plenty of light.







Then i replaced the visor mirror bulbs which were 286's...




Then my last bulbs came today for the rear lights.
same as the reg ones nearly but blue, slightly different blue than festoon, but im happy with it.

another update, so thought i'd share with you lot,

over the past 6wks ive been tinkerin a bit and spent a few quid on my car...
i was gonna change cars, but decided if im gonna keep it, i need to spend money makin it different, so ive pretty much spent what could av been a deposit on a new car.....

it feels, looks and drives completely different and im well chuffed...

heres a list of what i done...
in no particular order

re done burg mirror covers, stuck them to black covers, cant see mine behind them now..
tints re done
green smd's finished off
re-trimmd B posts again with original trim, then irmy trim ontop
boomerang armrest
insignia washer jets
another ariel
reg plate holder
pressed plates
carbon boot strip
new 6 button centre console with dds
full vxr leather vertually brand new...
vxr bumper conversion
vxr steering wheel
new angel eyes and conversion
debadged sri, replaced with decals
replaced a marked steering control cover
footwell lighting
eibach 30mm kit
CID
customed griffin/sri badge
cover under bonnet painted, not fitted yet
think thats it...
for now;)

here's another update...

So finally got my rear bumper sorted after 12 mths..nice new paint job..so then had to tart up the rear now ive done the front...

went to longlife/barkers in preston on friday and had a stainless cat back custom sytem made:D lifetime warranty:P

i was there all day,had to go back today for a few tweaks as the right pipe was not in the middle of the cut out, and things were banging and rattling..and i thought the pipes stuck out too much, i wanted them to look standard ish ...so they sorted most of it and they stick in a bit more now, but the right one ever so slightly in a bit more, and the left one needs to go left slightly now lookin at pic 2:sus:

Gotta go back nxt wk as the back box is knockin slightly on the wheel well, and ill pick up my old system if i remember, i forgot twice

These come today , electric rear window mechs/looms:D



got folding mirror looms, and mirrors are on order from vx..hopefully have them sorted soon:D

then brakes comin up nxt wk or 2..and hopefully new wheels/tyres:yippee:
