The Painters work in progress Calibra

Ok this is an exclusive for you guys here, i havent posted this on any other site yet .........

This was a normal Calibra, my daily driver, but ive always liked to be different.

Im converting it into a HARDTOP ROADSTER....... Time and money are the biggest issues ...... but heres a few pics to start it off....

How it was.......

Ive got a long way to go and im hoping to have it all done asap!

wow, nice projects mate, is the shell still rigid enough tho?

as somtime's they can affect safety performance in a crash with roof removed Sad

Dont worry mate its all strengthened !! By the time ive finished with it, the chances are it will be stronger than the original.
Id did a bit more bracing today at the rear end and mounted the boot lid gas struts.... well me and my mate, who im hoping will join up real soon !

Cheers guys..... its going to have a hardtop instead of the ragtop....
