Post by gillyelly on Tue Nov 10, 2009 9:00 am

Was well impressed!!!! Cant believe the extra power that little box gave it!!!

Thanks Louis for letting me try it out and sorry for breaking the cable

Am off to the DTUK Open Day on Saturday and me thinks i'll end up coming back with one

Willl have to check with the insurance company first on what difference this will make to my premiums!!!

Electric power will soon put both Petrol and Deisel engines to shame. Electric has tonnes more torque and lets be honest it wont cost as much to run. So................... More power less money makes Danny a happy boy.

Ps Danny is me, my mum didnt call me kenobi ya know.

now that i'm temporarily boxless i certainly appreciate the difference they make. as i've mentioned before i'd highly recommend getting a K&N or similar air filter too. Unbelievable how much more freely it revs compared to the standard filter.

Im still unsure weather to have a box or remap, i like the fact that i still get to use the sports button with a remap.

Well if you get it boxed, the sports button is non existant as its all ways will be at its full potential, eg 200bhp with sports on and off.

How ever if you get it remapped, then you still retain the sports button feature. eg 110bhp sports off and then 200bhp sports on

I remember when i tryed Converted Chris'is box. Was good but my car died 3 times. So did not get above 3rd gear.
