vectra clicking noise

hi there can ne1 help!!!!!!! wen i start car up there is a clicking sound which goes for 5 secs comin from near the heater console. ne ideas!!!!!!

what model vec is it.....i know the astra H does this and i think on the astra its something to do with the CIM....

symptoms of faulty CIM can be..

intermittant horn not workin...
horn not working when lights are on..
steering wheel controls intermittant

then eventually all stopped working altogether...
